Chip's Story
Chip has turned out to be the most amazing therapy cat that MVHS could have asked for. He calms, tames, and nurtures all the frightened, timid and feral kittens that come our way.
In September of 2010 MVHS was advised of a home in Menifee that had a Mama cat and a litter of 4 kittens living in a backyard. Animal Control had also been called and were coming to get the cats as they were feral and becoming annoying to the local families. Had Animal Control gotten to them before we did they would have all been put to sleep.
One of our volunteers trapped, tamed, and re-homed 3 out of the 4 kittens, with the 4th kitten (Chip) now becoming hers. Chip has turned out to be the most amazing therapy cat that MVHS could have asked for. He calms, tames, and nurtures all the frightened, timid and feral kittens that come our way. We call him "Mom/Dad". Just goes to show that a little love goes a long way.
