Envy & Her Pups Were Left to Starve in a Locked Garage

Read Her Rescue Story!

Envy was left to starve abandoned in a locked garage.

Meet Envy... I know it is hard to look at her pictures but it is reality. On January 7th I (Nina) got a call from a friend about a dog and her babies abandoned in a vacant garage. Upon arrival I found Envy and her 5 puppies starving and left to die.

At first I just wanted to cry because looking at Envy broke my heart. Then I got mad and realized it was all on me to get these sweet babies help.

I loaded them in my truck and headed to our amazing vet Dr. Carrillo at Lake Elsinore Animal Hospital. I'm not promoting this vet but want people to know that Dr. C is an amazing vet with a big heart and she cares so much for all the animals that come her way.

So Envy stayed at the vet for several days and is now in an amazing foster home where she is safe and loved and working on gaining 25lbs. I took the puppies home and have since placed 4 of them in foster homes and am fostering one myself. These amazing little survivors have come so far in the week that we have had them. A week ago they weighed in at 4lb-4.5lb each, were dehydrated and listless and all you saw were their little bones. Today they are all about a pound heavier and full of life and love. I will never ever understand how people can be so cruel.
